What was the highlight of Hilton Garden Inn Bordeaux Centre
Comfortable hotel quite near the station
Comfortable clean and quiet, not far from the station.
It's a pet hate of mine, something little hotels tend to get right but the big chains always seem to get wrong... What is the point of having a great Flat screen TV if there is nothing to watch? In this day and age, it can't be too much to ask to have Netflix or other online channels, or at least the facility to cast off from a device? Also the restaurant was shut at the weekend, and there wasn't a great choice of decent eateries in the immediate area. It was a little bit of a trek from town and the area seemed a bit run down (though the food market next door was great).

What was the highlight of Hilton Garden Inn Bordeaux Centre
Comfortable
Breakfast was excellent and the room was comfortable, bright and sufficiently roomy. As a wheelchair user I appreciated the fact that I was contacted when booking offering a change to a ‘wheelchair accessible’ room (which I rejected because we wanted twin beds).
We felt the staff, though efficient and courteous, were not particularly interested in the clients. Does the Hilton value its staff? We noted that the white t-shirts which were their uniform, were poor quality, many were in need of ironing, and even coming apart at the seams. Thus most staff were less well presented than the clients. It generally felt like morale was a bit low.
